VOCATIONAL EDUCATION & TRAINING SECONDARY SCHOOLS PROGRAMME Somers Entertainment, Adelaide's largest D.J Entertainment company, is offering D.J training as a recognized VET course, which can be used to meet the VET component of Stage 2, Vocational Studies A and Community Studies during your final years of secondary education. You may choose to make a full time living from this exciting industry or simply choose to earn extra cash on the weekend!! D.J'ing is a great way to earn a supplementary income for your entire working life. The course will cover an amazing amount of information to help you get started, everything from the Basic fundamentals of mobile D.J'ing to function protocol, music knowledge, microphone technique, trouble shooting, promotion, tax advantages & setting up a D.J business (licenses required etc). Trainers include a qualified workplace trainer who has owned several small businesses and is also a team leader at Somers Entertainment. Industry professionals will also facilitate in their area of expertise and all trainers hold more than 10 years experience in their chosen field. On completion of this course students will receive a certificate from Somers Entertainment to include in their resumes. Cost of the course fees could be covered in your first paid function. You would then be able to claim all of your future music purchases & depreciate the collection you already have.
